I am a broadcast journalist who has landed a cadetship with ABC News Melbourne for 2011. I was the drive traffic reporteron 774 ABC Melbourne in 2009. I have broadcast emergency state-wide storm warnings, produced the Coodabeen Champions Morning program, ABC’s 2010 ANZAC Day outside radio broadcast and assisted the chief of staff in the Channel 9 Newsroom. My career highlights include producing the 774 Drive radio program from Rod Laver Arena commentary box at the Australian Open tennis and writing this blog which aims to inform you of unusual news, facts and popular cultural trends circulating the globe.
